Push-back shelves
It is a shelf system that can store up to two to four pallets deep, similar to the drive-in system with the major difference that it does not require special equipment, this system using forklift trucks and standard transpallets.
Pallets are placed on mobile sleighs that are pushed along the running ways. They have an inclination angle towards the working passage and thus advancing pallets from the back at the point when the front one is taken over by the forklift.
It is a simple system with a good cost-efficiency ratio, which provides high density storage without special handling equipment.
Advantages:
- It is a LIFO system that allows accumulation of up to four pallets deep.
- It saves space vertically.
- Allows storage of products of the same kind on each storage nest.
- Easy to install and adapted to customer requirements.
